Crystal Palace is through to the FA Cup quarter-final after a 2-1 win over Stoke City.
It was a slow first half, but the game came to life in the second. Kouyate fired into the top corner from close range following a corner, but Palace was pegged back just five minutes later through Tymon’s equaliser.
Moore then had a chipped effort brilliant blocked on the line by Andersen before Allen denied Olise in the same manner at the other end. Riedewald, off the bench, restored the lead from the resulting corner.

Goals:
KOUYATE SCORES! Palace was upping the pressure, and they’ve got their reward! Olise takes the corner short to Zaha, and he pulls it back to Mateta just inside the box. His shot pinballs through the box to Kouyate, who peeled away at the far post, and he rifles it into the top left corner. 1-0 Palace.
TYMON EQUALISES! Just five minutes after the opening goal, Stoke are level again! Smith lifts it over Adaramola to pick out Sawyers’ run, and he cuts inside, leaving Hughes behind him. He squares it to the far post, where Tymon gets ahead of Olise to slot it into the back of the net. 1-1.
RIEDEWALD SCORES! Milivojevic plays a one-two with Zaha from a corner and swings across onto the penalty spot. Bonham punches it away, but only as far as Riedewald. He lets it bounce before taking it around Chester and drilling a low shot through the crowd and into the bottom corner. 2-1 Palace.
So, where else do Crystal Palace and Stoke City go from here?
Palace’s name goes into the hat for the quarter-final draw, which will take place on Thursday, with the tie being played later this month.
Next up for them is Wolves in the Premier League. Stoke miss out on making their first quarter-final in the competition since 2011-12. They have Blackpool next time out in the Championship.
