Barcelona legend Sergio Busquets praises Pep Guardiola. After winning the Champions League with Manchester City, Pep Guardiola received appreciation from Barcelona icon Sergio Busquets. The former Barcelona coach, according to the Spaniard, holds a master’s degree in coaching.
By winning the UEFA Champions League last week, Manchester City clinched the triple crown. Earlier in the season, the Cityzens had already clinched the FA Cup and the Premier League championship.
Busquets could not help but praise Guardiola in an interview with DAZN (via SPORT), claiming that the criticism the coach receives from the media is unjustified. He stated:
Pep was heavily criticized. Pep would likely think: “I spend a lot of time working on tactics, but I also want to be in control of my players and give them orders, and having this noise doesn’t help me.” Everything we display is a tip to the competition.”
The Barcelona icon continued: “I’ve had good coaches, but they didn’t push me farther, particularly in the lower categories, where they’re also almost more of an educator. I think Pep was more than just an accelerated master’s program on what it takes to be a professional. It was my early years, and I was young. I had that benefit because I was in the subsidiary with him.”

The reason you don’t win championships is usually due to poor competition, for which the players are ultimately accountable. However, you should also take into account the club’s less-than-ideal social environment.”
This summer, Busquets resigned from the team and is now a free agent. According to reports in Marca, Inter Miami is currently leading the pursuit, but certain Saudi Arabian teams are attempting to entice him to the Middle East.
