Teams that have qualified for FIFA World Cup 2022 Knockout Stage. Now that the group stages are almost over, let’s look at the teams that have already secured a spot in the round of 16. There is no disputing that the 2022 World Cup has started off to an exciting start, with several surprises and thrilling matches on display in the first two matchdays of the group stages.
To mention just a few surprises, there was Saudi Arabia’s shocking victory over Argentina, Germany blowing a one-goal lead vs Japan, and Belgium’s loss to Morocco. A lot of goals have been scored as well, with Spain defeating Costa Rica with seven, Cameroon and Serbia drawing 3-3, and England thrashing Iran 6-2.
But as we enter matchday three, everyone is wondering what all of that means for the knockout phases and which clubs have already clinched advancement to the round of 16. Let’s examine the position as we approach the last round of group-stage matches.

Group A was won by the Netherlands, with Senegal placing second, ahead of Qatar and Wales. England and the USMNT advance from Group B, while Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, tops Group C following their upset victory against Saudi Arabia in the opening match. Poland finished second in Group C, joining the Albiceleste.
France and Australia advanced from Group D, and in Group E, Morocco surprised Belgium by winning the group and placing second to Croatia. Japan unexpectedly won Group F, finishing first overall, ahead of Spain and Germany, with Hansi Flick’s team exiting the competition.
