Juventus is interested in signing Thomas Partey. According to reports, Juventus has shown interest in signing Thomas Partey, an Arsenal midfielder, during the current summer transfer window.
As Mikel Arteta looks to overhaul his whole midfield in preparation for the upcoming season, Partey, 30, has emerged as a probable summer exit for the Gunners. He has two years left on his deal.
The 43-cap Ghanaian international was a right-footed defensive midfielder who received a lot of praise throughout the first half of the previous season. But he has reportedly left because of a decline in his performance in the past few months.
Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, claims that Juventus contacted the North London club about Partey after several Saudi Arabian teams expressed interest in the player. Before making a definitive move to sign the former Atletico Madrid star, they are awaiting a decision on Adrien Rabiot’s future.
The Saudi Pro League teams, however, are prepared to part with £34 million in three installments to sign Partey.
The Ghanian would become a first-team starter for Juventus if he were to sign a permanent deal with them this summer. He would give players like Manuel Locatelli and Paul Pogba strong competition.
Along with Partey, Arsenal is planning to sell players like Granit Xhaka and even Jorginho, who arrived in January.
Partey scored five goals and provided four assists in 99 games for his club since he moved from Atletico Madrid to Arsenal in 2020 for £45 million.
On the other hand, the Arsenal are looking for several midfielders. They are monitoring Declan Rice of West Ham United, Moises Caicedo of Brighton & Hove Albion, and Romeo Lavia of Southampton.
To sign a 28-year-old Serie A midfielder, Arsenal is prepared to spend £43 million:
Fichajes claims that Arsenal is prepared to make a first bid of £43 million for Lazio player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer.
The Lazio president Claudio Lotito is reputed to be a very tough negotiator, so the Gunners may find it difficult to come to a quick agreement.
Milinkovic-Savic, 28, has been an indispensable player for Lazio since moving there from KRC Genk in 2015 for more than £10 million. He has so far assisted them in winning three trophies, including the Coppa Italia title in 2019.
The FK Vojvodina academy graduate has played 341 games for Lazio in all competitions, scoring 69 goals and assisting 59 others.
