The 19-year-old Gambian star liked the move to Man United. Adama Bojang, a 19-year-old Gambian striker, is wanted by Manchester United, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. Bojang, sometimes known as “The Gambian Hurricane,” is 6’3″ tall.
He is a member of the Gambia’s under-20 national team and was born on May 28, 2004. The young man was an important member of the Gambia youth team, who placed second in the Under-23 African Cup of Nations this year.
Regarding United’s interest in Bojang, Romano reported: “Manchester United is one of the teams now displaying interest in Adama Bojang, a prospect from the Gambia born in 2004. RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly working hard to finalize a deal for Bojang, who is regarded as a big prospect. Strasbourg is keeping an eye on the issue.”
According to Ed Aarons of The Guardian, Liverpool and Chelsea are eager to negotiate a €3 million trade for Bojang. The Red Devils’ participation in the event might provide some spice.
At the FIFA Under-20 World Cup, the 19-year-old scored six goals in ten games. Bojang scored four goals as Gambia finished second in the Under-23 African Cup of Nations this year. Senegal defeated Bojang’s team in the championship match.
Cristiano Ronaldo, a legend for Manchester United, is a favorite of Adama Bojang.
Although Cristiano Ronaldo’s second spell at Manchester United ended in controversy last year, the Portuguese player is still regarded as a club great. He is also Adama Bojang’s idol and the club’s most recent transfer target.
Bojang has previously revealed to BBC Sport Africa that he frequently studies footage of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and tries to incorporate his playing style into his own.
According to “The Gambian Hurricane”: “I wish to have Cristiano Ronaldo’s talent. Because among the well-known players, he is my favorite. After games, I’ve been viewing his YouTube videos. He posts his workouts online, so occasionally I try to watch them to get motivated.”
Bojang was also asked whether prominent European teams had taken notice of his performances, and he responded as follows: “I’ve heard the news, and I’m eager to learn more. It makes me feel better. I’m concentrating more on consistency, which inspires me greatly since it’s wonderful to have such clubs supporting you. Consistency will increase their desire for me.”
In the coming summer, Manchester United is eager to add a new striker. Apart from Adama Bojang, the club’s short list of summer transfer targets includes Rasmus Hojlund from Atlante, Victor Osimhen from Napoli, and Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
