Eintracht Frankfurt beats Real Betis 3-2 on aggregate in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday Night at the Deutsche Bank Park.
Well, where do you start with a game like that? After Iglesias popped up late to put Betis 1-0 up on the night and 2-2 on aggregate, we were headed for extra-time.
It was a quiet 30 minutes with few chances, but that final free-kick, conceded by Rodriguez, saw him accidentally knock the ball into his net.
What heartbreak for him and Betis, but Frankfurt are through to the quarter-finals! What a game!

Goals:
Betis have their goal!!! After fantastic work from Ruibal to beat two defenders, Fekir latches onto the ball and drives into the box, beating another before squaring to Iglesias at the near post, who stabs the ball into the back of the net! 1-0 to Betis, and 2-2 on aggregate, and this tie is far from over yet.
The hosts have won it. Hinteregger got to the free-kick ahead of the advancing Silva, and the ball bobbles into an empty net!!! After a short VAR check, the goal is given, but it’s an own goal from Rodriguez, the man who conceded the free-kick. 1-1 to Frankfurt, and 3-2 on aggregate.
So, where else do Frankfurt and Real Betis go from here?
Frankfurt are through to the quarters with that late, late, late victory and send Real Betis packing! The late drama that sealed the win will stand them in good stead for whoever they face in the last eight, but their fans will hope that they don’t leave it until the last minute.
