In the 43rd league match of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22, Hyderabad FC will face Odisha FC when they play at the GMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolin on Tuesday. In this match, where the Odisha team would like to return to the winning path, the focus of the Hyderabad FC team will be on returning to the winning path as well as putting pressure on the teams which are at the top of the points table. Hyderabad FC is currently fourth in the ISL football tournament table with 12 points from seven matches.
Spanish coach Manuel “Manolo” Marquez Roca’s team has so far won three matches and drawn three. It has gone undefeated for six matches and is ahead of Bitter gourd Blasters in this case with seven matches. A win over Odisha will move the Nizams up the table, who have had to share points in the last two matches.
Hyderabad head coach Marquez said, “We are in a very tough competition and every team can beat the other. It happens in a competition like this. We didn’t play well in the last match. Odisha has the best overseas. The players are there. They are a good team. Tomorrow’s match is going to be tough.”
Odisha’s Spanish coach Kiko Ramirez said, “Hyderabad are a compact team. They have been playing together for a long time. They have a good striker in Ogbeche and he is in good form. We faced him in the pre-season. And they know how to create chances. We analyzed them and we know how to counter-attack this team.” Hyderabad has won just one of the four matches they have played against Odisha in the Hero ISL and they will be keen to improve the record.
