In January Transfer Window, Ralf Rangnick hopes to keep Donny van de Beek and Edinson Cavani.
As United are still competing for the Champions League, FA Cup, and a spot in the top four of the premier league.
And due to the current COVID situation, squad depth will be a priority for every club.
Cavani’s Was vital for Man United last season, helping them reach the Europa League Final.
Both have seen limited action under the interim Manchester United manager.
Although Cavani’s lack of time on the pitch is due to his recent recovery from injuries.
Rangnick is desperate to keep both after being linked with exits earlier in the month.
While he acknowledged Donny’s struggles and desire to play to make the squad for this year’s World Cup, he then said:
“I still believe we should keep him, and he should stay here definitely until the end of this season and try to get as much game-time as he possibly can.”
Then on veteran striker Cavani, he added: “I told him I desperately want him to stay until the end of the season.
“He knows that and knows how highly I rate him and how highly I respect him,
“And that was also the reason why I played him from the beginning today together with Cristiano.”
Interim boss Ralf Rangnick faces several difficult decisions as he makes moves for several transfer targets.
While there are even some fans and former United players calling for the club’s captaincy to change hands.
