Real Madrid proposed a swap deal for Harry Kane. According to reports, Real Madrid has made Eden Hazard an offer in exchange for Harry Kane leaving Tottenham Hotspur.
Madrid has reportedly been contacted by an intermediary to determine their prospective interest in Kane, according to Cadena Ser (via GOAL). The team of Carlo Ancelotti has not yet responded since they are weighing all of their possibilities.
In a deal to transfer Kane to the Santiago Bernabeu, there are rumors that Hazard may be used as a makeweight. The Belgian attacker was Real Madrid’s final high-profile acquisition from the Premier League. After being purchased from Chelsea in 2019 for a club record €115 million, his signing was a flop.
Given that Kane’s contract with Spurs only has one year left, curiosity surrounds his future. The captain of England has been on fire, tallying 30 goals in 48 games across all competitions.
Kane has struggled with Tottenham’s lack of trophy success since he has a career-long drive to win trophies. The English striker would have a fantastic chance to win local and European honors by joining Los Blancos.
Karim Benzema, who has scored 30 goals in 42 appearances this season for Real Madrid, is still an important player. They do recognize the advantage of acquiring Kane even as they pursue Jude Bellingham, a fellow countryman, at Borussia Dortmund.
As Hazard continues to struggle with his form and conditioning, he is no longer needed at the Bernabeu. In just 10 appearances this season, the Belgian winger has one goal and two assists.
Hazard is considering retiring from Real Madrid, a La Liga team:
In 2024, the Belgian could end his professional career. Hazard allegedly plans to retire at the Bernabeu despite Real Madrid’s eagerness to sell him this summer.
When his contract expires in 2024, the former Chelsea attacker is reportedly considering retirement. He enjoys the concept of retiring in Spain’s national city.
After the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Belgian announced his retirement from international football after the previous year. He earns roughly €14 million a year, making him Madrid’s highest-paid player.
The winger and Los Merengues manager Ancelotti don’t have a good connection. He acknowledged in March that he doesn’t speak to the Italian coach frequently, saying: “We respect each other, says Ancelotti. I won’t say that we converse, though, because we don’t. However, respect will always exist.”
Only 76 times have Hazard appeared during his four years with Real Madrid. He has won the Champions League once and two times in La Liga.
