PSG to sell Messi and Neymar. To prevent Kylian Mbappe from defecting to Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly willing to trade Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr., according to El Nacional. Messi is approaching the end of his contract and has not yet reached an agreement on a new one. The Argentine superstar is reportedly considering not renewing his present contract.
On the other side, Neymar is allegedly a player the French club plans to offload this summer. PSG wants to maintain Kylian Mbappe for the long run since he is the project’s face. They have chosen to let go of the two South American superstars to satisfy him and ward off any prospective interest from Real Madrid.
Mbappe announced a massive extension with the Ligue 1 team although he was on the verge of signing a free transfer to Los Blancos during the previous summer transfer window. The Parisian club has focused on French strikers Marcus Thuram and Randal Kolo Muani, both of whom are now competing in the Bundesliga, to replace the two departing superstars.
While Thuram plays for Borussia Monchengladbach, Kolo Muani works for Eintracht Frankfurt. Manu Kone, a colleague of Thuram’s at Monchengladbach, is also a target for the Ligue 1 club. The 21-year-old midfielder is highly regarded.
According to reports, Nasser Al-Khelaifi is also getting ready for Zinedine Zidane’s arrival. The PSG board wants to replace Christophe Galtier with Zidane. While rumors about Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Lionel Messi’s futures in Paris are unending, the French forward recently discussed the advantages of playing with the former Barcelona combination.
After his team’s 4-3 victory over LOSC Lille, in which he scored twice, Mbappe was quoted as saying to the media: “Of sure, there is space to attack. I am aware that Ney and Leo will have more room to play while I am around, and they can throw any ball when they have room. The next round is one-on-one or two-on-one.”
