Reportedly, Chelsea is considering up a move for Borussia Monchengladbach center-back Matthias Ginter.
For the Bundesliga outfit, Germany international played a key role-making 31 top-flight appearances, last season in the heart of the Monchengladbach defense.
A recent report claimed that the Blues are nearing an agreement to sign Kai Havertz for Bayer Leverkusen while Chelsea has already been busy with the acquisitions of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner in the transfer market.
Frank Lampard has set his sights on another international from Germany and the manager of Chelsea is keen to bring Ginter to Stamford Bridge, Kicker reports.
The Bundesliga outfit will demand a heavy price for the 26-year-old, although Ginter’s contract with Monchengladbach has to run for just under a year, the report claims.
It’s also believed that Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid are monitoring the situation.
