Manchester City to refuse 2 PSG stars for Bernardo Silva. According to reports, Manchester City has turned down a Bernardo Silva trade offer from PSG. Pep Guardiola is not interested in either Gianluigi Donnarumma or Marco Verratti, who was given to the City players by the French club.
According to a report by Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato, PSG, and Silva have reached an agreement, and they are now trying to reach an agreement with Manchester City. The Ligue 1 team has chosen to pursue a swap deal since they do not want to invest a lot of money.
Verratti and Donnarumma are currently being considered for the offer, but Guardiola has already turned them down. Luis Campos, a PSG advisor, wants to bring the Portuguese star to his team for the upcoming season and is working to make the transfer happen.
The Cityzens need one of the two players, and PSG thinks they have made a good offer, according to Foot Mercato. They consider Verratti to be Ilkay Gundogan’s successor and Donnarumma to be Ederson’s ideal heir.
Manchester City target prepared to depart for PSG:
Bernardo Silva has made it known that he plans to make his departure from Manchester City public after the current campaign is over. According to The Guardian, he won everything at the Etihad and stated: “My strategy is to finish the season strong, take the Premier League, then the two finals, and then this summer we’ll see what happens.”
Silva told Record earlier this season that he was seeking a new challenge. Later in his career, he added, he hopes to play for Benfica again and return to Portugal: “I’m 28 years old, turning 29 in the summer, and I still have two years left on my deal with Manchester City. At age 31, my contract would expire. I’ll be honest: If something positive occurs elsewhere, my objective for the foreseeable future will probably be to switch to a new project.”
Bernardo Silva added: “I’ll probably only complete this contract at the age of 34, entering a new project at the age of 29. What did you think ten years ago, if I were to ask you? At most 32 years old, I wanted to go back to Benfica. How do I feel right now? Depending on what occurs during the upcoming summer.”
Despite playing 34 games in the Premier League this season, Bernardo Silva, a target for PSG, only scored four goals. In their 13 UEFA Champions League games, he scored three goals, helping them win the championship for the first time.
