PSG superstar Neymar receives an offer for €60m. According to reports, Chelsea and PSG have spoken about a surprising transfer for Neymar. Todd Boehly, a co-owner of the Blues, has met with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of the Ligue 1 team, to talk about the potential deal.
Le Parisien reports that Chelsea has made Neymar a €60 million offer. The Brazilian is seen as an experienced addition to Graham Potter’s team as they seek to strengthen their attack.
Ben Jacobs, a journalist for CSB Sports, has rejected the allegations. He claims that the discussion between Boehly and Al-Khelaifi was brief and mainly focused on Hakim Ziyech’s unsuccessful loan attempt on the deadline day in January.
Neymar remains a crucial member of the PSG club, according to manager Christopher Galtier, who stated earlier this season: “Neymar is a solution, not a problem. If I’m watching the game, I’ll call the coach a donkey if they put Neymar on the wing. When a player with these traits does it, it severely restricts his ability to be creative. Creativity is an eventuality; it is not constant; it depends on the circumstances. He will continue to make mistakes while playing inside because of his ability to be creative and the position he is in. However, I think he’ll make a decision when he exercises his imagination.”
Thiago Silva, a star for Chelsea, wanted Neymar to join him at Stamford Bridge because he is eager to work with the PSG player. Before the defender came to London on a free transfer, they both played for the Ligue 1 team together.
Last summer, he stated: “Neymar must travel to Chelsea. It would be the finest scenario if it came to pass. I hope that comes to pass, but I do not know about it.”
Rivaldo, though, thinks Neymar ought to join Manchester City and stated last month: “The Brazilian star may eventually make it to the Premier League at the end of the season, and PSG may be interested in selling the player to recoup some of their investment. Manchester City, in my opinion, would be the ideal club for him since it would increase his chances of success.”
Neymar has turned his attention to Paris Saint-Germain and will try to aid them in getting over their 1-0 UEFA Champions League loss to Bayern Munich in the second leg.
