PSG to include a midfielder when signing Harry Kane. According to PSG Community, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly open to including midfielder Fabian Ruiz in the agreement to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
The possibility of Kylian Mbappe moving to Real Madrid has PSG searching for a striker. PSG Community claims that the Parisian club is willing to extend a five-year contract to the Spurs striker and pay him more than he is currently being paid in north London.
According to the same source, Spurs would be open to the notion of bringing in a midfielder. In order to acquire the services of the forward, Fabian Ruiz would also reduce the transfer amount.
Harry Kane has one year remaining on his contract with Tottenham, and according to The Guardian, he has also been linked to Bayern Munich. A €70 million offer from the Bavarian club fell short of closing the transaction.
With the North London team, Kane has won the Premier League’s Golden Boot three times. He also had an outstanding year last year. In 49 games across all competitions, he scored 32 goals.
The 29-year-old attacker has made 435 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur overall, scoring 280 goals. The talented striker has yet to win any major championships, which may be a key factor in Kane’s decision to sign with a major European club this summer.
Stan Collymore believes Tottenham Hotspur should cash in on overpriced Harry Kane:
Stan Collymore, a former Liverpool forward, believes that Daniel Levy and Spurs should make a profit off of Harry Kane. Kane, in the pundit’s opinion, is overvalued even at £70 million.
In a recent article published on Monday, July 10, Fabrizio Romano said that Tottenham would not accept a fixed price of €80 million for their star player.
Collymore stated the following in an interview (via Caught Off Side): “There is a reason that only Bayern Munich is making an offer for Kane; he is overvalued even at £70 million, so Levy should seize the opportunity to offload him. Ignore the fact that he will be a free agent next year and will be able to sign a pre-contract with teams outside of England starting in January; he is approaching 30 years of age and has a poor injury history.”
Despite the Spurs forward being in second position for all-time Premier League goal scorers (213), Collymore also expressed his viewpoint. The international for England scored 30 goals in the Premier League last season and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down.
